🥣 Breakfast Club - Summer 1 Term
Please see this letter, which contains sign-up details for Summer Term 1 Breakfast Club (15th April-22nd May), along with key dates and prices. As the letter mentions, bookings will go live on Monday 9th March at 6:00pm via MCAS and will close on Friday 13th March at noon.
♫ Playground Performances
Music is a big part of our school curriculum and because of this the children will be performing the songs they have been learning during their music lessons. This will take place in the playground at the end of the day on the dates and times shown below.
We would love to see as many people there as possible as it is a great opportunity for the children to showcase all of their hard work this term! If you are not able to attend, we will be recording these performances and uploading some to our Instagram account so you can all enjoy!
🏐 Netball Fixtures
This week we saw an amazing performance from the ODA Netball Team who won 6-3 and 5-2 in their two matches. We are really proud of the students who represented ODA who displayed excellent Teamwork and Effort throughout. A huge thank you to all of the parents who came to cheer the team on and to Prince and Iván who led the team. A big thank you also to Melvyn for the great training sessions.
🚧 Ongoing Roadworks
Thank you for your ongoing patience with the roadworks, which are being managed by the builders, not the school, to apply a final tarmac coat before handover to the Council.
Please note that the Chace Village pedestrian entrance (by the ODA bike shed) is expected to be closed from Tuesday, 10th March to Monday, 16th March, so please use Hunters Way for entry and exit at pick up. Also note that you will not be able to store scooters on those days. We will send a text update as soon as the closure begins. Thank you for your support as these final improvements are completed!

Enfield Carers Centre is hosting an LD and Autism event on 13 March 2026.
Please see this flyer with full details of the event. The event will be run as a drop-in session, so parents and carers are welcome to attend at any time during the advertised hours.

🫱🏼🫲🏽 Family Based Solutions - Free Online Parent Support Group
This solution-focused online group is designed specifically for parents, carers and grandparents who are experiencing challenging or conflicting behaviours from their child or children. It offers a supportive and practical space for families to explore strategies and gain reassurance when managing difficulties at home.
The group runs once a week for four weeks and is facilitated by a Family Based Solutions practitioner. Sessions provide a safe and confidential environment for parents and carers to reflect on their experiences, connect with others facing similar challenges, and explore practical ways of responding to conflict, aggression and other behaviours that can feel difficult to manage. They ask parents/carers to attend all 4 sessions in order to fully benefit from the support.
The group aims to offer encouragement, understanding and practical ideas that parents and carers can apply within their family life.
