📚 Accelerated Reader Information Video

There will be an additional home learning video on Vimeo this week which will go over some key information about Accelerated Reader; particularly, how this will work going forward and how you can support as parents and carers. We strongly encourage parents and carers of students in Years 2 to 6 to watch—it will hopefully answer any questions that you may have!

🌙 Ramadan

As we approach this special month of reflection and community, we want to ensure we are fully supporting our students who are participating.

If your child will be fasting during school hours, please let us know by filling out this form. This will help us make sure they are comfortable and cared for during lunch and break times.

We look forward to celebrating this special time with our community.

🪀 Tilly and Taj Tots

Thank you so much to all those who joined our under-3s session this half term! We’ve loved having you with us. Although there are no more sessions until next half term, we’re already looking forward to welcoming you back to Tilly & Taj Tots after the break. As usual, please stay up-to-date by reading the Bulletin.

At ODA, we really value your thoughts. If you have any feedback that could help us make our sessions even better, please feel free to email the school office at  parents@onedegreeacademy.org—we’d love to hear from you.

Boromi Bags for Tilly and Taj Tots

If you were given a Boromi bag for Tilly and Taj Tots, please return it to the main office by Monday morning (9 February) at drop-off. We’ll be refreshing and sending them out again next half term.

🦾💜 Stronger Relationships Programme Registration for Fathers and Other Male Caregivers

Fathers are important for countless reasons, and research consistently shows that when fathers are positively involved, children and families thrive.

Home visits offer a powerful opportunity to build relationships with fathers and male caregivers (including step‑fathers, adoptive fathers, partners, uncles, grandfathers and others), but many are unintentionally left out.

The Stronger Relationships group offers an opportunity to include Fathers & Adult Male Caregivers living in Enfield and will be facilitated online by Race Equality Foundation starting Wednesday 18 February at 7:30pm.
