For most year groups, we operate a waiting list that’s updated with every new application. Families eligible for Pupil Premium are automatically placed at the top of this list, regardless of where they live. If you think you may qualify and would like assistance, please email tjohnson@onedegreeacademy.org or call us at 020 3150 1144. We’ll be happy to help you secure a place at One Degree Academy.
Eligible Pupil Premium families will be able to receive:
- a free breakfast club provision
- a heavily subsidised after school club offer
- subsidised school trips (including school residentials)
pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
Your child will be eligible if they:
- are registered as eligible for free school meals
- have been registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the past six years
- or are a looked-after child.
Services premium is for
- children whose parent(s) are serving in the regular UK armed forces
- children of ex regular UK armed forces personnel who were serving in the last 3 years
- children where at least one parent died while serving in the UK armed forces and the child is in receipt of a pension under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) and the War Pensions Scheme (WPS).

Free School Meal Eligibility
You are eligible to be registered for free school meals if you receive:
- Universal Credit (provided you have a net income of £7,400 or less)
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- The guaranteed element of state Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (provided you are not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
- Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
