School Tours - Reception 2026
One Degree Academy will be holding school tours for our Reception 2026 intake from 9.00am to 10.00am on Tuesday, 9th December.

📸 School Photos Have Arrived!
If you have ordered any school photographs from Kittle to be sent to the school, they have arrived and have been sent home today with your child. Kindly check your child’s school bag at the end of the day to ensure you receive them. If there are any issues, please email Mike at parents@onedegreeacademy.org.
📝 Assessment Week
Next week is our first Assessment Week of the year. Please make sure that your children are in school as students perform better doing their assessments at the same time as their teammates!
As always, the teaching team will be showing scholarship and effort in abundance on both Data Day (28th Nov) and Planning Day (1st Dec) to create class Intervention Plans to ensure that gaps are addressed strategically.
Results will be sent prior to PR Day (Progress Review Day - 6th January) for you to look at prior to meeting your child’s class teacher.
🍎 Placements
As part of our ongoing commitment to staff development, Ayisha will be going on a placement from Monday for four weeks. We are so excited for her to see what great things she learns and brings back to us at ODA. In her time on placement, Muna will be taking over the Class Teacher responsibilities for Queen Mary’s Class.
🪀 Tilly and Taj Tots
We are looking forward to re-starting our stay and play sessions for under-3s. If you have a child who is under three, we would love to welcome you to join us each Wednesday 8:20-9:30am for Tilly and Taj Tots, a stay and play session. Please email the school office (parents@onedegreeacademy.org) if you would like more details and to attend.
⚽ Year 5 Football Festival at the Tottenham Hotspur Training Ground
A selected group of Year 5 students had the incredible opportunity to visit the Tottenham Hotspur Training Ground on Thursday — an experience they’ll never forget! As part of a borough-wide initiative to inspire more children in Enfield to get involved in football, our pupils got a true taste of life at one of the world’s top clubs.
From stepping onto the pristine pitches to training and playing matches under the expert guidance of Tottenham Hotspur’s youth coaches, the children were absolutely blown away by the world-class facilities and the excitement of the day.
They represented the school brilliantly — full of enthusiasm, teamwork and pride. A huge thank you to Prince and Santasia for leading the group and making it such a fantastic experience! 💙
