Some of you may have already noticed that we have a new member of our admin team: Amirah! She has already been getting stuck right into life at ODA and learning "The ODA Way."
Please join us in making her feel incredibly welcome!
As you know, music is a huge part of our curriculum at ODA. To celebrate the wonderful work the children have been doing in class, there will be performances in the playground before pick-up for many classes to showcase their hard work. Please look at the information below to see what time and date your class may be performing. If you are not able to attend, please do not worry as we will be recording clips and uploading them to our Instagram page. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are so looking forward to celebrating our community on Wednesday 15th July, 2:30 - 4:00pm for STRIVE Fest. One of our favourite things to do is celebrate the diversity and talents of our school through not only performances and games but through a love of food. Each year we are blown away by the generosity of our donations of home cooked, delicious treats from parents and carers. To help us manage the event better, please sign up here if you plan on making a dish for the event. Our team will then contact you closer to the time about plans for the day in terms of drop off, etc. Any questions please speak to Maria.
Thank you so much to all those who joined our under-3s session this half term! Although there are no more sessions this year, we’ve loved having you with us.
At ODA, we really value your thoughts. If you have any feedback about our sessions, please feel free to email the school office at parents@onedegreeacademy.org — we’d love to hear from you.
If you were given a Boromi bag, please return it to the main office by Monday morning (6 July) at drop-off. Thanks!

The Government has recently expanded certain eligibility requirements so that more families may now qualify for financial support from ODA.
We encourage all parents and carers to complete our eligibility check, even if you do not think you qualify. The process is quick, confidential and could provide valuable benefits for your child.
To check your eligibility, please complete the form here (please note, although the form mentions Free School Meals, it helps us establish wider benefits beyond what that implies): https://fsm.lgfl.net/app
Ultra Sport will be running fun-filled summer activities during the summer holidays. Please see the flyer (jpeg / pdf) and application form if you would like your child to attend.
