Reception Classes for 2025

We are happy to announce an update to our staffing for September 2025. We are really excited to be welcoming a new member of staff, Ayisha, to our Reception team! This means our Reception Classes for 2025 are now Liverpool Class and Queen Mary’s Class. Parents have been contacted directly to tell them which class their child is moving into. Muna is staying on as a part of the Reception teaching team but will be working across both classes.

Who are these workshops for?

These workshops are designed for parents and guardians of Primary and Secondary School-aged children and young people who wish to learn various strategies to support their children.

What do these workshops offer?

With parents, these introductory workshops aim to explore ideas, skills and strategies that can be used to help support their children. While we will touch on general themes, please note that the workshops might not cover every situation or experience that may contribute to these issues. These workshops are designed to be interactive. Participants will be provided with resources, further reading recommendations and guidance for after the session, should any further concerns arise. We recognize that parents are experts of themselves and their children and that the professionals at My Young Mind Enfield bring their own expertise through training. The aim of the workshops is for parents and professionals to bring their expertise together and provide information, ideas and resources.

These workshops will be led by Wellbeing Practitioners from My Young Mind Enfield. They will be delivered via Microsoft Teams; please note that a Microsoft Teams account is not required to join. Attached below, please find the workshop posters that contain the links to sign up to the free events. Those links are also included with the details above in the form of hyperlinks.

Medication - End of Year Protocol

All medication we have in the medical cupboard has been returned to students on the last day of term in their bags. New care plans will need to be completed on MCAS for the next academic year in September, if you wish to bring them back to be administered. No medication can be kept in school over the summer holidays.
