🌍 World’s Best School Prize

We are incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for the World’s Best School Prize for Overcoming Adversity. Although we didn’t take home the top spot this time, we want to say a huge congratulations to all the schools recognised across the different categories, and especially to Escola Estadual Parque dos Sonhos in Brazil for winning our category.

Being shortlisted is a true honour in itself. Since opening in 2016, our mission has been simple but powerful: to ensure every child, no matter their background, has a life of choice and opportunity. This recognition shines a light not only on ODA, but also on the very real challenges faced by families across the UK and the vital role schools can play in supporting them.

We want to thank our incredible staff for their dedication and care; our families for trusting us from the very beginning; our governors for their tireless support; and, of course, our students who embody our values every day.

The ‘ODA Way’ - built on love, structure, and high expectations - continues to guide us. We hope this recognition encourages more families to join our community and inspires other schools to connect with us. Together, we can continue to create a network of changemakers working for a better, safer world for every child.
