School Tours - Reception 2026
One Degree Academy will be holding school tours for our Reception 2026 intake from 9.00am to 10.00am on Tuesday, 9th December.

Pick-Up
Thank you for your continued support in helping us create a safe and smooth end to the school day for everyone.
Our pick-up procedures are carefully planned with the whole school community in mind. While we know they may not always be the most convenient for individuals, they play a vital role in ensuring a safe and efficient exit for all our children.
To help things run as smoothly as possible, please:
- Follow the one-way system
- Park legally and safely
- Stand back from the pick-up point until your child’s class is brought out so staff can clearly see and match children with their parents or carers
Your cooperation really does make a big difference. Thank you again for working with us to keep our school community safe and well-organised. 🫶
Reception Baseline
In accordance with DfE regulation, students in Reception will be undertaking their Reception Baseline assessment over the next four weeks. Please see the attached flyer here for more information.
Spaces Available in Year 2 and Year 3
We currently have a couple of spaces available in Year 2 and Year 3. If you know anyone who would like to join the ODA family, please let them know. Families receiving Universal Credit may be able to move up the waiting list. If interested, please ask them to contact the school office.
Flu Immunisations for Students in Reception through Year 6 (Friday 26th September)
The school nursing team will be coming in to administer the flu vaccine. This is generally done by a nose spray but they also offer the alternative injection if preferred. Please see the leaflet linked to at the top of this Bulletin (the link reads "Download PDF") for further information. You must complete the form EVEN IF YOU DO NOT want your child to receive this.
Enfield 20mph Consultation
Enfield Council is proposing to introduce 20mph speed limits on residential streets and roads in town centres. Enfield has asked us to circulate their consultation as they want your views on their 20mph proposals. Your feedback will help make our own road safer, particularly as Enfield will be adopting the roads around ODA soon.

Enfield Ignatians Rugby Club
Enfield Ignatians Rugby Club are on the look out for players! If your child (5-12 years) is interested in playing Rugby, then training takes place every Sunday at the Donkey Lane entrance to the Enfield Playing Fields from 9:30-10:30am. See this flyer for more information.
