We are thrilled that you are considering a visit to One Degree Academy. Our door is open to educators, school leaders, and those passionate about education. At One Degree Academy, we take pride in our distinctive approach to learning, and we are excited to share this with you. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to witness our culture in action, observe our lessons, and explore what sets us apart.
Our visits are an opportunity to immerse yourself in our school environment, interact with students, and observe how we bring our ethos to life. We are committed to making your visit as insightful as possible, so we ask that you refrain from taking photographs unless granted prior permission. You will likely have the chance to meet with students and gain a deeper understanding of the values and teaching methods that define One Degree Academy.
This is open to to educators, school leaders, and those passionate about education. If you are a parent, please view our apply pages and contact our addmissions team if you wish to visit.
We regularly host visits from partner organisations, such as Stepllab, Teachfirst, Ambition and North West London Teaching School Hub. If you plan to attend a visit as a delegate with these organisations please do not fill out the form below and instead contact these organisations directly for information about a visit.
Arranging Your Visit
Visits to One Degree Academy typically take place on Fridays from 12:15 pm to 2:45 pm. To register your interest, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Due to the high volume of enquiries, we are unable to accommodate specific date requests or tailor visits to individual preferences. Once your registration is received, we will confirm the Friday you can attend.
During your visit, you will:
- Tour the school and observe our classroom environments.
- Speak with students to hear their experiences.
- Witness a celebration assembly, where our school community comes together to recognise achievements.
- Observe lessons across different subjects (each observation lasts 15 minutes, before moving on to the next classroom).
- Engage in a Q&A session with our staff, where you can ask about our ethos, curriculum, and teaching practices.
Our visits are designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of what makes One Degree Academy a truly special place for both students and staff.

Support Our Work – A Contribution for a Meaningful Visit
We are truly honoured that you would like to visit One Degree Academy. We welcome visitors regularly and love to share our work, but as you can appreciate, hosting visits involves significant time and resources.
To help us continue offering this opportunity to all interested parties, we kindly ask for a donation to cover the cost of lunch, refreshments (£3.50), and the administrative costs associated with managing visits. Last year, these costs totalled over £5,350.
We suggest a donation between £5 and £50 per person, depending on your circumstances, which will ensure we can continue to open our doors to those who are keen to experience our approach.
Your donation will be directly used to cover the costs of hosting visitors and to keep One Degree Academy open to education professionals, fostering collaboration and learning.
